2025年度ALLOTMENTトラベルアワード受賞者は、村上美樹さん (京都市在住)
The Winner of the Allotment Travel Award 2025 is Miki KURAKAMI (Live and work in Kyoto)

2025年度ALLOTMENTトラベルアワードは、国内外から117名の作家の方々からご応募いただき、審査員の福原志保氏、長谷川新氏による厳正な審査の結果、村上美樹さんに受賞が決定いたしました。村上美樹さんは　2019年 京都市立芸術大学美術研究科彫刻専攻を修了し、その後も京都を拠点に活動を続けています。作品は継続的に自分自身や他者の個人的な経験や記憶に焦点を当て、それらの忘却や物の廃棄に対する 抵抗と愛着を重要な要素とし、展示空間に構成することで、鑑賞者と相互作用が 起こり、体験が拡張される「記憶の場」となるような作品を制作し発表を行なってきました。今回のALLOTMENTトラベルアワード助成金でチリのアタカマ砂漠の中にある洋服の墓場と呼ばれている場所を訪れる予定です。

The Allotment Travel Award winner 2025 is Miki MURAKAMI. She was selected from the 117 Travel Award applicants we received this year. The judgment committee was held on the 2nd August in Tokyo and the panel of judges were Shiho FUKUHARA and Arata HASEGAWA. Miki MURAKAMI (B.1994) graduated from the Kyoto City University of Arts, Department of Sculpture in 2019 and has since continued to base her work in Kyoto.

Her works consistently focus’ on her own and others personal experiences and memories. Often the exhibition space is structured around the attachment people feel towards their possessions and the sadness they feel or the ego and arrogance that exist when they are discarded, expanding the experience as a “place of memory.”

Miki MURAKAMI intends to utilize this year’s ALLOTMENT Travel Award by visiting a place known as the Clothing Graveyard in the Atacama Desert in Chile.
